The Ideal 5222 guillotine has been specifically designed to meet the exacting requirements of digital print. By incorporating a hydraulic clamp and snap in false clamp plate the 5222 is capable of cutting even the most difficult stock without leaving a mark.

The New Ideal 5222 features an all new beam guard system fitted to the front table, whilst still using the already sucessful platform of the Ideal 5221-05 Digicut.

The new beam guard coupled with the infinetely adjustable hydraulic clamp and hydraulically assisted high speed knife make the Ideal 5222 Digicut is a formiddable opponent to even the most advanced guillotines.

An all new programmable keypad has also been fitted. This enables the operator to enter up to 99 programs with 99 steps in each program, repeat cut function and an auto eject system for pushing the paper out once cutting has been completed. Program steps through after each cut with any operator intervention, this new feature speeds up your cutting times.

This coupled with the all new auto step function whilst in memory mode, makes the Ideal 5222 Digicut highly functional.

Other new features include the Red LED cut line indicator, highly visible even in the brightest environment, with the reliability that LED bulbs bring.

A foot treadle is also fitted to enable operators to check the cut position before firing the clamp and knife. False clamp plate for delicate work and digital prints. Infinetely adjustable backfence speed control via the front dial.

Self diagnosis system with error message on front display.

Extremely accurate readout on digital display (Accurate to 1/10mm). A true package to suit all print environments.

Optional side tables. Machine can be ordered with or without the extra width side table. Perfect if you require the machine to fit into a tight space.
